Hand Wrist

Dr Prodromos has a high rate of success using PRP injection for lateral epicondylitis, “tennis elbow.”  He has found physical therapy to usually not be helpful and surgery to be unnecessary in almost all cases. PRP is also helpful for many patients with arthritis of the wrist or the base of the thumb.

In some cases where loose bodies are present in an arthritic elbow elbow arthroscopic (no incision), surgery can be quite helpful.
