A plant-based diet can cure Crohn’s Disease. A recent study documents complete remission of symptoms in adult Crohn’s Disease when meat and processed foods were removed from the diet. This mirrors prior work showing the same result in adolescents.
The adult study can be found here. The study in adolescence promulgated a diet called the carbohydrate-specific diet. That work was done at the University of Washington. This shows again the importance of using diet exercise and environmental factors rather than toxic medications wherever possible. There’s also evidence that stem cell treatment can be effective in Crohn’s disease and Crohn’s arthritis. This treatment is now available through our center.
