Very vigorous exercise shown to be ok in middle aged people

Very vigorous exercise shown to be ok in middle aged people

A recent study looked at whether exercise that raises your heartrate to high levels, and does so for prolonged periods, for example 8 hours per week, resulted in increased risk of death or adverse health events. The conclusion was that it was ok. Also, there are definite health benefits to more intense exercise, as long as there is no risk in doing so. This study was thus reassuring that, after clearance from your doctor you may reap the benefits of this more intense exercise without worry of increased risk.
