Sunscreen and Cancer

Sunscreen and Cancer
A recent study suggests that sunscreen actually causes cancer. I believe it is better for most to get sun in moderation without sunscreen, than to expose ourselves to yet another chemical by regularly using sunscreen…

The following is a link to this very interesting study.

It is also important to realize that sun exposure is the most efficient way to get adequate Vitamin D. And it has turned out that Vitamin D is overwhelmingly important to our health due to its beneficial effect on a myriad of health problems. We have co-evolved with the sun for the entirety of human existence. It is impossible for me to fathom that suddenly the sun is our enemy.

The sun is natural. Moderation is crucial. Sunscreen is not natural, but it is extremely profitable. Vitamin D supplementation is important to many - I take it myself. I only take it during the 7 cooler months when my skin will not make Vitamin D in the Chicago climate. In southern climates, Vitamin D pills may not be necessary at all.
