New Study Shows That Boswellia Has Important Beneficial Effects On Arthritis

Boswellia or boswellic acid is actually made from Frankincense. Commercially it is often marketed as 5-Lipoxin which is short for 5 lipo oxygenase inhibitor – referencing it’s biochemical activity. It is one of ten nutritional supplements for which my research has found scientific evidence of efficacy. However good studies are scarce and it is always difficult to know which of these supplements is relatively better than the rest. This new meta-analysis provides evidence that Boswellia may be the most effective of all. It is also interesting that Boswellia has been found very effective in the veterinary world. That is, it has been quite useful in animals as it is in humans. This is further evidence of its real effectiveness in biological systems in general and provides further evidence, although indirect, of its utility in people. We sell a high quality Boswellia or 5-Lipoxin on our website at purchase supplements, which I take daily. Beneficial effects generally take 1-2 months to manifest.
